A funding body dedicated to supporting the non-profit sector to help improve social issues has given a £28,000 grant to PEGS.
We are thrilled to announce the successful application to
The Fore
which will help us to put in place the structures vital to enable us to thrive, grow and support even more families who are experiencing Child to Parent Abuse.
The money will be used to ensure we are offering efficient support to our parents and the professionals who undertake our frontline training. You may have noticed our website has recently been redesigned, which was supported by the funding from The Fore as part of us developing a communications and marketing strategy.
We’ll also be using the funding to help us secure contracts for the delivery of training to even more statutory services such as police forces and local authorities over the next year.
Ensuring all of this is in place will help us as we plan for the future, and enable us to grow the amount of
support
we can offer to parents experiencing CPA, as well as the number of
professionals
we can train. The focus on communications will also highlight who PEGS are and what we do to many more people, which puts us in a much stronger position when it comes to influencing national policy (a core goal of ours which we are already beginning to achieve).
Our aim is to become the go-to organisation for all parents, professionals, and policy makers when it comes to CPA, and we’re thankful to The Fore for helping us on our journey towards that aim.
