Yesterday, PEGS were pleased to be in attendance of the Derbyshire Victim Services Celebration Event. Hosted by the Police and Crime Commissioner, Angelique Foster.

The event was a great opportunity for organisations such as ourselves. To recognise and celebrate the invaluable work that has been taking place in providing victim service support all throughout Derbyshire.

We saw a fabulous array of supplier showcases, which gave us insight into how some of the fabulous organisations work, and the support they offer. The day also allowed us to gain an understanding of the Police and Crime Commissioner's upcoming Police and Crime plan. In which PEGS is very impressed with the continuous hard work Angelique Foster is doing and has planned, in order to keep our communities safe.

As always events like these are a great opportunity to network and make connections with other victim service providers, to benefit those in the future who may need it. And of course, to catch up with old friends and long term collaborators of PEGS.

PEGS were extremely humbled and honoured to have been presented with the 'Certificate of Recognition and Appreciation' awarded by Police & Crime Commissioner Angelique Foster.

PEGS staff member Malisha said - "The day was lovely, it was great to meet with other victim support organisations, to hear about how they have been putting in tireless effort and work to provide an amazing service across Derbyshire. As a resident myself, it is also great to see the plans Angelique has, and I'm incredibly hopeful for the future of Derbyshire."
