PEGS has received a bumper grant thanks to a national car dealership.
The team at
Arnold Clark
has kindly given £750 to support our work in supporting families impacted by Child to Parent Abuse, training professionals, and influencing national policy.
Our Founding Director Michelle John said: “We are so thankful that the Arnold Clark team donated this money, which will be used to research and develop volunteer opportunities.
“Through developing a national volunteer base, we will be able to support more families – and once we can meet face-to-face it will enable peer support to take place across the areas where we have representation.
“Within a social enterprise like PEGS, every penny really does make a difference to the amount of support we can provide, and it was fantastic to meet some of the team at our local Shrewsbury branch of Arnold Clark on Tuesday (11th May) to personally thank them for the company’s donation.”
General Manager Qashem Miah said: ‘The
Arnold Clark Community Fund
is here to connect us with our local communities and we’re delighted that we were able to help PEGS with this grant. The past year has been challenging for so many of us, which is why it’s important that organisations like PEGS, that work so hard improve the lives of others, continue to get the support they need.
“We hope this grant will make a difference and it’s been a pleasure to meet members of the organisation and find out more about the vital work they do.”
