Abuse Talk podcast features PEGS guest

Our Founding Director Michelle John was delighted to be asked to take part in the Abuse Talk podcast this week. As well as the weekly podcast (which goes live at 7.30pm on a Wednesday), there’s an online forum and an hour of questions and chat on Twitter (8pm-9pm on Wednesdays) using the dedicated hashtag #AbuseTalk.

It was all set up by Jennifer Gilmour, aimed at supporting those impacted by abuse and enabling others to find out more about specific experiences and types of abuse.

Michelle had the chance to talk about where those experiencing Child to Parent Abuse could turn to for help; how PEGS was set up; the age range of those displaying abusive behaviours to their parent, carer or guardian; and much more.

We were delighted to see the comments in the Twitter chat afterwards – with discussions centring around parental emotions, avenues of support, and what behaviours a child may display as part of CPA.

If you missed the launch of the podcast, you can listen below – and do check out Jennifer's Twitter page @AbuseTalk and the website to find out more.
