We are truly saddened to announce the tragic passing of our fabulous Dani. Dani was truly dedicated to PEGS, having been a part of the organisation since the beginning, and a fantastic friend to our founder Michelle for many years. Dani had listened to, supported and empowered hundreds of people accessing PEGS’ services over the years, as a CPA practitioner and wellbeing lead, and most recently with responsibility for triaging referrals. Words can’t express how much she will be missed not only by our community of parental figures, but also by the entire PEGS team. Dani’s lively spirit and bright outlook brought so much positivity to all of us, and she was a driving force behind us constantly improving our services. Dani was truly one of the kind, and PEGS and the wider world are poorer places without her. Our thoughts are with Dani’s children and all those who loved her at this truly devastating time. We are of course encouraging the team to take the time they need to process this sudden loss. We will make sure her family see the kind words being shared since her passing, and we thank you all for your well wishes and patience at this difficult time for us as a team. 💜
